need help-xp, download problem, new

okay, i just bought an insignia, i know its sad, im running 56k, i can download mp3s but i am trying to download photoshop and when i save target as, hit enter, the dialog box shows the download time to be 65 hours...which is way too long, then the dialog box, 30 minutes or so later says download complete. when i try to unzip the file it says files corrurpted. whats wrong? i then tried downloading microsoft imaging from their site and when the download completed in around 20 minutes, i tried unzipping it and it said the there was a run time error. i really want photshop. why is it downloading so fast and not right?!? like i said this is a new computer so i have never downloaded anything big before on it or anything other than mp3s yet. what do i do? thanks so much!

Sometimes when the American servers are heavily stressed out u can try the European servers :)
 
well i am able to download but its not downloading right, when clicking on the desktop icon (setepapplication) it comes up corrupted.

Shouldnt you be getting an demosheild installer?? The demo doesnt require you to do any manual extracting
