Need Help

Ok so im trying to wipe my comp clean and i was told to just upload a new OS. Well I tried that and it wont let me since the other XP is updated. I tried toget rid of the original to download the new and now my system keeps telling me that my comp needs a debug??? Oh and i need to get rid of a protection of my printer program since i lost the disk. Help would be great

Place your Windows Install Disc in your optical drive.
Reboot your computer.
As soon as it shuts down and restarts, press Esc by tapping it
until you see a Boot Menu.

Boot from the CD-ROM and follow the instructions.

Make sure you back up your data first or it will all be lost.
