Need help

Not sure what is wrong with my computer. It won't power up, light on tower fades on and off. I have no keyboard or mouse. It's a gateway desktop using vista. I tried holding the power button, took out the battery, still nothing.

Might want to replace the battery. Standard would be 2032 but will be written on the battery. Any drug store should carry it or a radioshack. With the battery out hold the
power button down for about 30 sec. I would replace the battery first. Maybe $4.00 or $5.00 dollars.

How about he tries replacing the power supply instead. Replacing the battery when it won't eve turn on won't change anything.
