Need help

Hi im new to this forum i hope i dont waste your time im a 14 year old and i built my own computer i got some problems though and im not sure whether its the cpu or motherboard cause recently i needed to replace my old mobo cause it was broken so i bought the Asrock(http://ncix.ca/products/?sku=71223&vpn=N68C-GS FX&manufacture=Others) and when i installed my cpu,graphic card(geforce gtx 550 ti),ddr3 ram(kingston) and my sata drive and once everything is plugged in i turn it on theres no beeps what so ever and nothing shows not even the motherboards splash screen can anyone help me? and yet when i put my old computer on it shows on the monitor .____. help~!~

Are you sure it was the motherboard to start with?

If it was the motherboard, are you sure the standoffs are in the right places, like one were its not suppost to be and grounding out on the board.

Could be a number of things. Are you sure the motherboard before the Asrock was broken? Did it do the same thing that's happening now? If the ASrock motherboard is working fine, try booting with different ram sticks in different slots since one of them may be dead. Sadly, it also sounds like your graphics card could be dead. The first thing I would suggest is to try booting without the graphics card as long as you have an alternative like onboard or CPU graphics.

Also try booting with a different graphics card if you have one.
