Need help

Hello my wife laptop died the other day. After some working on it it seems that the issue is that the wires that are where attached to the DC jack have come loose. Is the any way that I could just solder the wires back to the jack to get it to work again. If so which of the wires goes where. Its a dell 3552 if that helps
 
You'll most likely just have to replace the jack. Do the wires attach to a port on the motherboard or are they soldered to it?
