ok so im new to the whole building a computer, a newbbbb, i so far have a antec 1200 case,
sparkle 1250 power supply,
amd phenom II x4 970 black edition 3.5 ghz,
and a asus m4a89gtd pro/usb3 motherboard

im in the process in ordering an
seagate 7200.12 750gb harddrive
lite on dvd/cd combo
2 asus rog ati 5870 running crossfire (as soon as i can find 2 lol)

now my real question that has me stuck, any help would be great!, is which ram so i get?!?!?!

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131631

thats the link^^

DDR3 2000(O.C.)/1333/1066, thats the ram description, now i no oc means over clock, now which means i connot buy a regular 2000 right? id have to buy a lower and then over clock it to 2000 right?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820144470

thats the best one i can find, has a low latency and comes with 8gbs for cheap and is 1333, but idk how over clocking would work on it, dont really know how well that brand is aswell. if any one can point me in a better direction id really appreciate it, i will be using this computer for gaming only, i have another for everyday use.

thank you (sorry for rant)

You can get any of the three speeds listed.

If you buy DDR3 2000, you will have to tweak the BIOS to
get it to run at that speed. Otherwise, it will run at 1066 or
1333.

Honestly, why do you need 8GB of CAS6 RAM?
Not worth the extra money unless you're an overclocker.

Most people, aside from overclockers, will never notice a difference between those RAM speeds.

Thanks for the info guys. That link has some God ram, even tho 1600 isn't on that llist it'll work? What about 1866?

The processor has a unlocked X, no need in overclocking your memory unless you were just wanting to. For the price I would just get some good DDR3 1600 and be done with it. If you want 8gb, get two 4gb. sticks instead. Four sticks stress the memory controller out.

^what he said, because he said it.

Example:
I have you're same board w/1.55-1.75v 2x2gb 1600 running @ default 1333.
But,

^^"AT 1.65V, you can choose 1600C7 or 2000C9"
