Need input

I'm faced with some difficult decision on a mother board and CPU. Main use of this computer is Internet and games. For you wizards out there, I would sure appreciate any advice you have on a board and CPU combo. I'm new here and apologize if this has been brought up before. I just would like some professional opinions on what to go with. I have saved up $430 for the Mobo and CPU which might be overkill for what I want to do. Appreciate any advice, Thank you in advance, Steve

This is the same mobo and cpu I have, and they are nuts! I can get my CPU up to around 3.8 with no problems.....sweet deal all for about $340

You're running that 478 prescott at 3.8GHz, what vcore does that take? Do you have cooling on your mosfets(voltage regulators)?

Newegg is reliable and reasonably fast and apparently have a nice return policy
