Once, I saw a website, where it had (I think a linux distrobution) that was specially meant to run off of a flash drive. No installation, just straight off the flash drive on a Host computer IN Windows (in a window)

Thanks. :)

O, i spent like 5 days testing different distros on USB devices. The ones that i found work are slax, puppy, and damn small linux. I can help you out if you want some help.

Yep. I need help. How can I get puppy to run in windows (in it's own window with windows in the background)?

puppy and DSL both have a QEMU version available in their download repositories...
Puppy has a QEMU version here:
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/qemupuppy/qemu-puppy-2.01-1.tar.gz?download
DSL has their QEMU version here: ftp://ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/damnsmall/current/dsl-embedded.zip

These both have pretty good speed.
You will also need something like ZipGenius to unpack them. you can just run Puppy or dsl.exe to start it

And unlike Virtual PC, QEMU is:
Free
Open source
Not made my Microsoft (adds a bit of an up to anything)
