need mac os-x os sytem, box set...does it have to come from apple?

didnt know if it affected warranty, tech support, etc???

didnt know that it mattered...found way cheaper elsewhere....

apple was 168.00 plus tax for box set. leopard edition.

You have to buy a Mac, since the EULA of their OS clearly states it only runs on Apple branded hardware.
