Need more help...

I know I posted another thread about some help I needed but I have a few questions so i'll post another thread.

1- Do I really need a Quad Core processor so I can get good performance on my games? Does it really matter or should I just get a Dual Core?

You know, basicaly I want a perfect balanced computer, not only that it will perform good in gaming, but also that it will work in doing my school homework, maybe watching movies and doing anything I want on it.

Also, I want something good in price, something not too out dated and upgradable.

Can anyone post all the perfect parts or maybe a HP computer that comes with everything I need? I was thinking about the HP Pavilion Elite e9140f but I don't know.

Thanks!

I googled, HP Pavilion Elite e9140f cost around $900, It is a home media pc rather than gaming pc.
Are you build the machine yourself? Or do you after pre-build?

I just assume $900 is your budget, and here is my $930 list, I make it similar to the one from HP. It should be a balanced all-in-one machine for the budget.
