need more ram!

can anyone give me the "best buy" for more ram for my computer? i think that i can hold/add a maximum of 1gb.

its all so cheap now just go get a gig.. but on the other hand another 512 stick would be fine.... just double check you can handle the ram before you buy it

what makes for a better upgrade... the gb/mg of ram or the number of pins????

well you dont have a choice pinwise, you want the largest size possible. Your motherboard will only work with one type of RAM, probably DDR333 184pin RAM, probably a max size of 1GB total, so look for a 2X512mb set.
