Need motherboard, can't find a match!

So this is my situation. 7 months ago a built a new semi-budget PC and thought I did all of my research. Come to find out the MOBO I purchased was not Crossfire or SLI compatible and I am now interested in adding another MSI NGTX460 Cyclone (ebay has plenty).

I've been scouring the web and cannot find a MOBO that would have 2x PCI 2.0 x16 slots, AND support 1600 memory AND support my hexcore AMD Phenom II 1100t Black Edition. I'd settle for 1333 memory support if I have to but the 2x PCI 2.0 x16 and 6x core support are a must.

Can someone help me out of what seems to be a bad situation here? I would be most appreciative. Current specs are below

Motherboard: ASUS M5A87 AM3+ AMD 870 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

GPU: MSI N460GTX CYCLONE 1GD5/OC GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Power Supply: CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-650TX 650W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply

Processor: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition Thuban 3.3GHz, 3.7GHz Turbo Socket AM3 125W Six-Core Desktop Processor

Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory

In addition, 2x pcie x16 slots that run at x8 have the EXACT same performance as ones that run at x16. Within the margin of error in benchmarks

In addition to this, Intel's 1155 runs Dual x8 is better than a AMD running at Dual x16. The hick up is the CPU bottle necks, maybe consider upgrading to Intel as well.

If your interested in AMD still try Gigabyte.

If all your running is two 460 in SLI. Save yourself 50 bucks. No performance difference 16X and 8X in SLI. Has 8+2 power phase seup/2oz copper PCB.

What's the major difference between

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...na&AID=10521304&PID=4169961&SID=1i04kpv2iggwr

and

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...-na&AID=10521304&PID=4169961&SID=1g6wq5exk3so

other than cost? Is 2x PCI 16x 2.0 only good for high level cards/will my GTX 460 not utilize it? I'm very inexperienced with SLI/2.0 16x stuff.

Its basically the name, Fatal1ty. Broadcom BCM57781 LAN, and the audio is also supposed to be better as well. I have heard nothing great from either myself. Even though Gigabyte is a dependable brand, if your going to Overclock the Fatal1ty will probably OC higher.

Only cards with SLI Support. Your GTX 460 will work fine, but you will need a cable (SLI Bridge) to connect the two cards.

One is a 990X and the other is a 990FX chipset. The Gigabyte is 8X/8X in crossfire/SLI. No, there is no difference running GTX 460 in 8X/8X.
