I have a General Electric optical mouse (withhold your laughter). Well...it's malfunctioning now and I need a new mouse. I want a gaming mouse with the ULTIMATE PRECISION.
1. Which is the best?
2. Which is the best for the price?

PS: I'm leaning toward the Razor Copperhead (green) because I heard good things about them.

Micey's

The Logitech G5/G7 and the Razor series (not sure which model).

Those are all good as is the Logitech MX518. Newegg has em' for $41 plus shipping. You can also get the MX518 at best buy for about $5 more than shipping from newegg. G5 an G7 have 2000DPI and MX518 has 1600. Not sure about the razor. Heck I use a wireless MS mouse and it works pretty darn good. :P

Either the Microsoft Laser mice or Logitech Laser mice would be good choices. I have an MX1000 and I love the fact that it has a rechargable battery as well as the base station.

Is there really that big of a difference between the 800dpi mx1000 and the 2000dpi G7? I personally love my mx1000 with the rechargable battery DCIScouts mentioned, also how it feels in my hand.

How can they be as good as the MX518 is they reach 2000 dpi, and the MX518 has a max of 1600? The G7 is also wireless, which can be seen as a positive depending on how you look at it.

Heya

I am a fan of Razer mice of which I would recommend the Diamondback series for 1600dpi. If you want (need) a higher sensitivity mouse, the Copperheads are amazing at 2000dpi. If you are serious about any mouse you get, I would recommend you to go for either Razer or equivalents from Logitech. I would give them a try in a shop so that you would see which suits you best.

JAN :D

some mobos are not compatable with the razer mice having said that i would go for the razer boomslang 2100 dpi and its easy to slow it down and speed it up on the fly during gaming it is a ball mouse but dont let that put you off
