Need new graphic cards

Hi , I need to upgrade my graphic cards and power supply 'cause i was told that my psu had only 300watts in order to upgrade to higher graphic cards i should change also my psu as well, Is that true ? I not as good as computer genuis. What 's the better or best psu I can put to my Dell 5150 with 3.0 GHz, 3Gig ram, graphic cards of 128mb,dual core. I was thinking putting a 500 or 600 watts power supply with 516Mb of graphic cards any advice brand name? What procedure should I take in order my upgrade will work any precaution I should do? I'm a Nooby pls?
 
I believe the form factor of your Dell is mATX, so you shouldn't have any problems upgrading. If you want to double check, initiate a live chat with a Dell support rep. Ask the rep the following question: "Does the Dell 5150 conform to ATX or mATX standards?"

What's your budget for the new components?

Good Video Card
 
My budget is lower than that on graphic cards but I may take it and power supply is ok the price is good to my budget,thanks for the advice.
