im trying to run an older milling machine, a pro light tmc1000. the computer we have is old and hard to use but it is the only computer we have access to with a full length isa port for the interface card. i would like to get a new computer for the station but it has to be compatible with the software for the mill. im a junior in highschool working on restoring the milling machines as an individual project.

the minimal system requirements as stated by the owners manual:
The Control Program runs on a 586 /120MHz personal computer. The
computer must have:
Windows 95 or Windows NT 3.5 or higher.
16MB RAM minimum for Windows 95 (24MB is recommended for
best performance). 24MB RAM minimum for Windows NT.
A 3.5 in floppy drive.
A hard drive with at least 5MB of available space.
A full length ISA bus slot to install the interface card.
A VGA graphics controller and monitor.
A Microsoft-compatible mouse.
(also it needs to have at least 2 isa ports)
could anybody give me a list of preferred products, accessories, or a certain computer i could buy? leave a reply, pm me, or email me at email removed by voyagerfan99 to prevent spam. thank you, ncirelli.
