NEED pics off IDE Hard Drive

I have a problem...my motherboard died in my computer. I have pictures of my kids on the hard drive that I want off. I went to Best Buy and bought a Rocketfish SATA hard drive enclosure so I could hook it up to my laptop. Well, the problem is my hard drive it a IDE hard drive. What can I do? Does anyone know how I can get my pics off an IDE hard drive using a laptop???

Please help me....anyone....I need my pics.

sorry, but as a general rule of thumb, people at best buy are idiots. they DO make IDE enclosures, and you can get one off the internet pretty easily. i suggest you take that SATA enclosure back to those idiots and get your money. make sure you get the proper size enclosure for your HDD. if its a laptop HDD it will be a 2.5" or if its a desktop HDD it will most likely be a 3.5". As far as using your laptop, i assume you mean replacing the laptop's hdd with the one you want to get pictures from? first off, SATA and IDE are not compatible with each other, so it will not work (there are other reasons too, but I wont go into that)
