i need printer recommendations , since i print around 20-30 dvd covers a day

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

, i curretnly have a z611 lexmark printer which only cost 30 bucks, however it prints really good dvd covers, which I PRINT A TON OF , 20 -30 a day ,
between me and my friends,

this printer does good, however it has little bitty catridges that have to be refilled several times, after I refill them about 10 times, they quit working , and for some reason the printer skips certian lines on my covers,

i guess I have worn them out ,

my question is , is there a printer, that is not over 100 bucks that may have larger catridges and can be refilled alot of times without any problems

my moms work got in a hp printer which has a catridge for each color, but I dont know anything else about that printer

its just tiring paying $24 per catridge , even though , im better off than some people since i do know how to refill my catridges i have,

its just I want a printer where i dont have to refill them as often and lasts longer

For that smal of a budget, you really can't get anything much bigger. How much ink do your current cartridges hold? AFAIK, the largest is about 20ml.

You could get a laserjet.....

10 refills is pretty good for a cartridge. There are the some officejet printers that you can get like the HP K550 that would be about $200 and would have the separate color cartridges and a fairly high capacity. I know that's more than you budget, but that really is about the best deal and price point for what you are trying to do. Otherwise, look at a color laser, and then you're looking around $400+...

Or, you could check out some local printing places that could possible do it for you for fairly cheap... (Kinko's, Staples, Office Depot, OfficeMax...)

I have an HP PSC1350(All-in-one) and it's carts lasted over a year for me! I'm still on the original black, but just recently swapped in my 2nd color. Never tried to refill. I have a cheaper hp 3520 that uses similar carts(physically similar, but the 3250 uses 2x's and the 1350 uses 5x's) The 2x carts seem to refill only once, then basically dry up overnight afterwards.

I love my PSC \1350 and strongly reccomend it. However, they have since come out with 14xx models, and yet another one(not 15xx, but maybe 15x) Anyway, reviews on the newer ones seem rather poor. I don't know if they use other carts or what...
