Hi there, :)

Ok my problem is i thought i knew everything about +12v lines ect, but i am REALLY confused now, i am buying a palit gts 250, will i need a psu with 2x pci-e connector or just 1? and also when i purchase my psu it has a +12v1 of 20amps then a +12v2 of 20amps? thats the bit that REALLY confuses me, could someone tell me if this will power my computer and how it.. all works really, help REALLY appreciated, thanks again.

there are 65nm and 55nm versions of the gts 250. AFAIK the 65nm needs 2 6 pin connectors and the 55nm version needs only 1.

oh right thanks alot, so if i have a psu with a 12v+1 of 22amps and a 12v+2 of 22 amps, will it power my system with a 250 gts

Its a OCZ StealthXStream SLI Ready Black Power Supply 600Watt it has 2x pci-e connectors but i don't understand what to do because the 250gts has only 1 pci-e port :S?

Right. The two power connectors are for cards with two connectors or if you running two cards in SLI or Crossfire and only have one connector on each card.

Ok thanks for all your answers and sorry to be a pain lol :), the psu i said about earlier would cost me about £60, but i saw another 700w psu called cit?
coloursit 700w psu with +12v1 of 20amps and +12v2 of 20amps for only £30, i know it sounds like a low tier psu but it even has a 12 month warrenty from the actual seller / company, could anyone now give me advice on what to do, thanks again.

Also the person said the cit psu has been tested with a 250gts and said works fine, advise please :}
