Need router information

I need to find a router that broadcasts speeds higher than 300N in a single 'channel' as opposed to broadcasting say 2 300N 'channels' thus calling itself a 600N router. Is there a 600N router that broadcasts all its power into a single 600N detectable network, or maybe a 450N router into a single 450N channel?

I've been told you can disable a router's second band to concentrate all it's broadcasting power into the first band. Can anyone tell me how you would go about doing this? Thanks.
 
Thanks timmy for your suggestion on that Linksys. I'm seeing it advertised at $155 and that's a little too much for me. I'm comfortable spending about $70. Any other suggestions?
