Need some help, building a new computer

Hey guys,

I'm building a first time computer and I did a good amount of researching about components and price and was wondering if you guys could give me a heads up on what I'm getting and how well my computer will be? I was aiming for something that is mid range and plays games very well( I want almost max settings but wont be upset if i get hid middle).

Just a note I will be getting a better CPU fan cuz copper I hear is better. I also am running on a budget...life of a college student ya know!

NEED THE MOST HELP ON A GRAPHICS CARD!!! DONT WANNA PAY MORE THAN 120, 150 IF IT IS A MUST!!!

WoW (Getting Cata)
Starcraft (gonna get 2)
Warcraft 3
AoE3
Working on Getting FPS prolly gonna get BF or CoD
 
You could get a better graphics card for the same price. Try searching for a cheap 5000 series from ATI like the 5770
 
The PSU you have chosen is not of good quality.
I recommend you go with High performance RAM rather than going with value RAM.
The HSF you have chosen is pointless

It is one of the fastest 7200RPM hardrive.

As for GPU go with the HD 4850 or the GTS 250 or the 9800GTX+

For the DX11 in particular. It seems to be quite popular amongst gaming-machine-builders ATM :P You could get a cheaper Mobo that would support all your items, but I take you want/need the USB 3.0?

I'd also go for faster RAM, G.SKILL Ripjaws 1600 ($99).

CPU cooler, probably XIGMATEK HDT-S963 CPU Cooler ($27) with Bracket ($10),

and maybe a higher quality PSU Rosewill Green Series 630W ($60).

That would add $106 total with $52 being a much better GPU..

The HD 5770 is 160 bucks if he goes for it he will be going a good 10% overbudget,
Rosewill PSU suck.
and he would better go for a Arctic Freezer 7 which is a really good HSF.
He should stick to high performance RAM which he will be able to overclock.
