Hey guys, I'm new here but not new to computers. I've been running a custom AMD build for about 3 years, upgrading as I go. Currently I'm running an AMD Athlon 64 X2 7850 Black Edition OC to 3.0Ghz, an ECS GF8200A Black Edition MOBO, EVGA Geforce GTS 250 512mb (no OC), 2048mb of A-Data DDR2 667Mhz RAM (upgrading soon thankfully!), a WD 160gb EIDE HDD (also upgrading!). But enough of this nonsense, lately I've been having some serious problems with what I'm guessing is heat. I can feel the heat coming off of my Raidmax Smilodon Case and sometimes the top above the PSU is actually hot to touch! But I've never had these issues before. I'm getting constant BSOD every time I play a graphics or processor intensive game for more than a short period of time. I have a 500w psu (the default one that came with my case) and it has worked fine for all this time. It's getting very hot and I noticed that the heatsink on my cpu is also. I have two 120mm fans, an 80mm fan, a 92mm cpu fan that keeps it at about a 31C idle, and a 120mm fan in my psu (or something like that). Once again I've never had problems with heat before, and I've been playing the same games. Any ideas on how I can cool my pc down and what is happening!? Any input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Brick
