Need Some Help On A New Video Card

Hey everyone. I bought this computer about a month ago and i need better graphics. I will probably have to upgrade the PSU too but what would be the best graphics card and PSU to get for a good price. Im not looking for the cheapest but the best for my money. I would go with a 9800GT and a Corsair 450VX. I don't think you would be able to go much higher without having your processor bottleneck the video card.

Thanks a lot. I dont do a lot of gaming. There is pretty much only 1 game i play and it requires a 6600 or greater. I saw this graphics card and i was wondering if its an OKAY one. I have a friend selling the exact one for pretty cheap.

What games are you planning on running? The 9500GT is a good card for moderate gaming, and you might be able to play some of the newer games on low settings.

How much is he selling the card for? That same card is online new for $50, although you don't need 1GB VRam.

I mostly just play MLB and NBA NK9. He is selling it for $20 so its a good deal i think.

You would definitely have to turn down the settings a bit to play those but for $20 I guess that's not a bad deal.

Good program but that only applies to the newer cards AFAIK. I don't know if that's in his budget. But if the 9500GT doesn't perform well, I would stick to a 450VX with a 9600GT. It will play a lot of your games and shouldn't cost too much.
