need some help with hardware for my new PC

iam building a new pc and need some help on hardware use.
this is what i put together so far.

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550

3 - Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB Hard Drive - 7200, 16MB, SATA-300
for a raid config.

would it be good to get ddr3 1333mhz or will it be a waste (if its needed or not i just want to know if there will be any difference at all)?

the power supply i got has 2 pci-e power plugs but doesnt say its fire cross ready, is that ok?

you should probably stay away from ddr3 until price drops, especially since ddr2 is like 4gb for less than $100

will there be any performance benefit now or in the future if i get ddr3 now?

iam kind of at my budject limit and i dont need the best card as i dont play those hight powered games and if i will need better graphics in a year or two ill be able the add another 3850 or get a 4870 for really cheap by then.
