need some help

Ok guys, for some reason, my CPU keeps running at or near 100%
for example, this morning, i turned it on and it was going pretty good, but about 5-10 minutes after everything was done loading, it jumped to 100% and now it wont dip below 70%

Im getting this info from Windows Task Manager under the performance tab.
what should i do! whats causing this?
 
Check what process is keeping your CPU that high, Chances are it may be a virus or some program that's not timing out correctly(or is plain screwed up :P)

This wasn't coming on from suspend, was it? I know my laptop had this weird problem where it'd get stuck around 70% CPU even though all the processes were at null. I never pinpointed it, but I suspect it's a windows issue. Same thing happened to my desktop as well a few times, but I never suspended it as much.
 
Well, I just turned it off completly, unpluged all the cords from the case, opened it up, went over it with a small air-compressor and an airbrush...I blew every little crack and crevis i could find...man there was a LOT of dust, there were chunks bigger than my thumb flying out of who know's where, I went over it thouroughly, pluged everything back in, turned it on, bam...problem "solved"

I'll keep an eye on it still though, it just doesnt seem fitting that just blowing dust out of it would "solve" a major CPU probelm like that... But maybe it does, only time will tell i guess.
