Need some help!

Alright, my parents have agreed to buy me a gaming computer for christmas, and I'm wondering if the computer I chose is worth it.

It's and AMD Athlon II DDR2.

Some basic things about it:

Processor - AMD Athlon II X2 240 Dual-core CPU

Memory - 2 GB

Video Card - ATI Radeon HD 3450 - 265 MB

Hard Drive - 500GB

I'm wondering if I can play online games without lag, or even that, play them! The main game I want to play is Team Fortress 2, can someone please tell me if this computer is worth it.

That's a moderately decent CPU... should work fine if you have some better components, i.e. more RAM and a GPU with *at least* 512mb ram... That's a basic.

A question: What manufacturer is that video card from? (EVGA, ASUS, HIS, etc...)

If you're willing (or your parents are willing) to spend about $80 more, buy an extra gig of ram, (especially if running vista) and my video card. It is here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814129124

It's reliable, fast, and will work nicely for your build.

Good Luck!

When you mean better video card, better quality in picture. Cause I really don't need that, or do you mean by lagless gameplay?
