Need some help.

What's going on guys, i recently got a graduation gift which was my desktop computer.

It's specs are:

Intel Core i5-4460 Quad core

DDR3 8GB ram

HDD 1TB

and integrated graphics..

Now obviously I want to buy a new graphics card over christmas but i'm completely new to all of this. If I do purchase a graphics card how will i set it all up seeing as i have integrated graphics how can I work around this? And if you guys have any suggestions on graphics cards that would be a huge help as well.

Any idea what power supply is in the PC? Usually you can take off the side cover and there's a sticker on the side for wattage and model. That'd give us a good idea if you needed an upgrade on that side to go with whichever card we'd be looking at.
