Need some opinions.

If you see any LGA processors(no pins on the bottom, just contacts) i would grab those as they could be anything from a pentium 4 to a core 2 duo, even if they are just lower end pentium 4's you can get a few bucks for them on ebay.

Depends on the case, more than likely your hp is microatx and wont fit a full atx mobo though. That antec nine hundred would have been a good case had you nabbed it:P

hey bomberboysk.. im up in northeastern Ohio as well. what city are you in? would you wanna make my computer for me : ) id tell everyone on here how sick it is. Im in Willoughby/wickliffe area.. let me know man, maybe we could worksomething out.. and are you really 15?!!?????!!!!

Im closer to the canton area so its a little bit of a drive from here to that area. And yes, i am 15 lol.
 
id still drive to work something out with you lol.. i could buy everything and you could build it up for me and stuff.. and im not a stalker or anything ahha im 18 so the age diff is closer then if i was like 50 haha.

7months and 5000 posts! holy damn! haha.

But let me know man, id be willllling to work something out. my computer i have now is doing good, but i need something before i head off to college. and it sure as hell sounds like you know exactly what your doing.

Wow this is a really good setup for the computer but if you're buying retail it's gonna be real expensive dude.

this will be my first ever 100% install on a computer with all the parts and etc. do you think it will be hard for me? its not like opening the case will be the first time for me, but its a matter of software for me. is that the hard part or what is?? how much extra crap comes on the software as to buying a new HP? like with the games and programs to burn cds and stuff with..

Nothing... Windows vista dvd will be just that, windows vista, none of that crap norton antivirus, gamespy, etc. There are free programs available to burn dvd's and whatnot though, as well as things like avg anti virus.
 
where do those come into play at?? like when i install vista, do i automatically get internet explorer? i mean what actually comes with it? lol sorry i am a noob after all.. is there a list!? HAHA ahh boy this might take longer then i thought.

Yes you will have internet explorer, but id suggest grabbing firefox or chrome as they are both far superior to internet explorer.
