ok, im think im going to get the E6600, is it good at overclocking? or can you recomend something better.

also be needing a mobo to go along with it, looking at asus p5b deluxe, any good?

and then RAM, which ddr2 is good for OC?

will ddr ram work on a ddr2 board?? cos i might get the cpu and mobo first, then ram. unless anyone knows someone that would be interested in buying my ram off me??.

also, cooling, should i get a fan for the cpu or water, keeping in mind i want to overclock, but will water give me a lot more oc, seeing as it does cost a lot more.

See my sig for what I used. As for new stuff I'd get a 680i SLI board as the EVGA one was just released and it really does perform better than anything else out right now (high FPS in games etc). I also believe I read that EVGA recommends Corsair Ram for that board. If you're going to overclock I personally recommend the Scythe Ninja or Scythe Mine for air cooling. I also personally don't like the idea of water near my $1000+ piece of hardware but it should give you lower temps but I can get 3.2ghz @ stock voltages on air cooling on my rig. I don't think I'd care to go much higher. I run at stock everything as my rig blows through anything currently out for gaming. I use my old AMD 64 3200 for burning DVD's and downloading stuff anyway. :D
