Working with a budget of $1500, I live in Canada so Canadian sites would be easier (I used newegg.ca).
I'm just looking for recommendations or corrections to this build. Trying to build a solid gaming pc. Might have 2 video cards through crossfirex at some point but for now just sticking with the one.

I wouldnt go with a socket 1366 PC.I would prefer a Socket 1155 setup.The new sandy bridge series is really fast and good.No more CPUs will be released for socket 1366.But socket 1155 is a new socket.

Please change the rosewill PSU and you dont need a 1000W anyways.You can go with a Corsair 750TX or an Enermax 750W PSU both of good quality and not that pricey and will also support future Cross Fire.
 
don't the sandybridge setups still have issues though?
i've forgotten what i heard about them already lol

Not any that I know of.If you have heard of any issue please post the link here.

But sandy bridge series is really good and if you plan on playing games only then a Core i5 2500k is more than enough.

There used to be, but that was fixed quite a few months back :)
 
The Sandy Bridge issue was actually with the Mobo chipset...not the actual CPU... :) but Looks good!
 
thanks for all the input :)

as far as the psu goes, if I do go with something thats around 750W, would that hold me back if I added another graphics card later? This is the unit I'm looking at right now:
