the first two links don't work for me, secondly you won't buy any video card and 19" monitor for $225. How much gaming are you planning on doing, if it'll be really minimal you might get away with like a 6600, but for any moderate gaming, I'd look at a 6800 gs or one of the new 7600's, and the ati's are fine too, just using nvidia for examples.

sorry the monitor shouldnt have been figured in. i have been trying to learn so much for 2 solid weeks.

i'm going to look into the 6800 gs i just neede a direction to go in. really still dont have a clue what all the numbers mean and just need compatibility direction. thanks

I'll have you know I'm a gamer and I use a 6600GT:mad:

I would be upgraded but damn AMD's AM2 debut!

I get damn good FPS rates with this "budget card" Fear on medium/max settings with only a little overclocking :rolleyes:
