Hey,
I have a 20 Gb hard drive and all i have on this computer is my ipod, world of warcraft, and steam. Also windows defender. I dont even have 1 gb. How can this be possible.... Before i had the ipod i had about 8 or 9 gb... I want space for more games... is there a way to clean out your comp from junk that you dont need besides defragmenter and disk clean up? Help please thanks.

sounds like you're encoding your music too high for it to take up 7-8 gig, try reencoding your music at a lower quality to save space

try compressing the old data
How do i do that? I am very "noobish" at the computer.

There you go, check out the links.... as for my suddgestion, i would say just add another hard drive in, surely thats the easiest way and the most efficient, it will also eliminate the risks associated with either of the above two methods for saving disk space....

iTunes allows you to change the quality of music imported, and a lower quality means a smaller track size.

However I would strongly consider upgrading to a bigger hard drive. 20GB isn't a lot these days, and a single game can be 2-4 GB in size depending on how recent the game is. An upgrade to 80GB wouldn't break the bank and would give enough space for your needs. You could always keep the 20GB as a dedicated music drive, saving the 80GB for your games and applications. Just an option.
