need suggestion for psu

Besides a supply you may want a look at some Creative Labs Sound Blaster models for the EAX if you are planning to run a number of pc games. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...37&Submit=ENE&Manufactory=1137&SubCategory=57 But before advising on one supply from 425-500w to have a little extra onhand you will want to look over the preferred "good" list of makes compared to those with complaints heard on them that made the "bad" list as follows. Note the lists here are subject to revision often.

Good:
Antec(except Smart Power models) - Astec - AOpen - Channel Well - Coolermaster - Enermax(except Liberty models)
- Enlight - Fortron Source (Sparkle) - HEC - OCZ Technology - PC Power & Cooling - PowerMan
- Seasonic - SilverStone - Tagan - TTGI/SuperFlower - Vantec - Zippy / Emacs - Verax - Zalman
- Corsair

Bad:
Allied - Antec Smart Power models seem to lack(recommend True Power or NeoHE) - Aspire - CoolMax - DEER - Enermax Liberty models - EYE-T
- KingStar - L&C - Linkworld - Logisys - PowerMagic - PowerUp - Powmax - Q-Tec - Raidmax - Skyhawk - Star
- Turbolink - Ultra - ThermalTake(complaints heard) - Rosewill - SilenX ???

Instead of just having a cheapie brand dvd burner you could look at some Sony, Lite-On, LG dvd burners. OEMs are those that come without cables but can save on overall costs. A few Sony models are seen at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...025&Submit=ENE&Manufactory=1112&SubCategory=5

I've been running a few Sony floppy drives in different builds here with good results.

if i

was limiting myself to under 100 for a sound card what would you suggest? And I did not realize that some of those things said OEM. thanks for pointing that out.
