Need Suggestions For RAM

Hey Everyone,
Sad to say my RAM is no longer with me (RIP)...anyways, I honestly have no idea what memory to get. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130080 is my motherboard and I really am not sure which memory is good and what is bad.

I will be using this memory for gaming and would like to keep it under $150. My old memory was Crucial Balistix Tracer 800MHz 2GB so please don't pick Crucial, I like to try something different.

You can also use Patriot, Kingston, OCz...or pretty much whatever brand you want, a lot of them actually use the same chips effectively making the only difference the heatspreader and the price :)

If you're not going to overclock, get the set that's the least expensive that comes in at the speed/timings you want. If you do want to overclock then there's a bit more to look for, right now people still like Micron D9 fatbody chips for DDR2.
 
I don't think I'll be overclocking unless I learn somewhere how to do it (thats how I think my other ones died...I mean all I heard was this pop and there was smoke in my case, that was after I played with the settings :cool: )

I really don't know what the difference of some of these are except price and the timings on the first one are different.

I looked at the Corsair suggested because thats what I had in my other computer and I really liked it but I read that there rebate system is a little flaky, but thanks for the suggestion!

The 4-4-3-5 timings is the best I've seen on DDR2-800 and I'm thinking it might be a typo on the gskill site. Even if it's right it wont have much effect on day to day performance. The difference between 5-5-5 and 4-4-4 is very small.

If you are looking at the last 2 you have linked, I'd go with the last one. It's cheaper and has better timings.
For the ~$20 difference between the worst (5-5-5-15) and best (4-4-3-5) you've got there I'd probably take the 4-4-3 because the price difference is so small but you will have to set the timings yourself. I bet you could get the $88 stuff to hit 4-4-4-12 if you wanted. It still wouldn't be as good as the other RAM but it's pretty close :)
