yeah thats the most common kind, a barebones kit where you get the main laptop unit with board, screen, keyboard assembled, and you choose and add processor, memory, hard drive, and optical drive, far better then you can hand pick you own components, although as nanobyte has said its quite different to building a desktop, so download a step by step guide if its your first experience with a laptop, and you will def need some small specialist screwdrivers.
