thanks guys!

Yeah, they are compatible as far as I know, but that HDD is not the best. You might want to look into Maxtor, Seagate or Samsung alternatives. Just a thought.

I think it's alright except I think a Nvidia graphics card would go better with a Nvidia chipset. And dude Western Digital Hard Drives are great.

The reasoning behind the x1900xt is becasue ive heard it kicks the 7900gt in prety much all benchmarks

the 7900gt would be the only other one i could afford really.
These prices are coming from NCIX to.so the gtx is not as low as it is on newegg
all the same ive heard only good things about the x1900xt

Man, take Allendale E6300, get a cheaper power supply, if your getting Allendale then no cooler is needed, the allendales and conroes run very cool, rambo is runing E6300 at 3GHz. My E6300 is OC to FX-62. So don't be stupid, is you want performance get E6300.

What your budget?

P.S. I would buy 7900GT :P

Ive decided not to buiild a C2D.for reasons im not gona get into.haha .i do not want to strike a huge Intel against AMD post.

But over the GPU.
ive heard the x1900xt kicks the 7900gt's ass in game benchmarks
Why would the 7900gt be a better choice?

Im not building a c2d system because ive researched a nice bit.and with the 1000 series opterons and k8l and am3 backwards with am2 and such.i just feel it will still give me very very good performance with building a x2 system.

but this is about the GPU, I want the better out of the 2
BFG geforce 7900gt
or
radieon x1900xt

My budget can take either one of them, and i cannot find another card from
http://www.ncix.com
to replace either of those 2 cards for performance

theres my logic!

Man...
The E6300 in stock is pwning the 3800+ OC, when its OC its a beast.

E6300 is pwning at all spects.
He said that's not what he wanted, he wants a system like hes building and just wants to know if all the aprts are compatible and will work. There is no need to say what someone already said, when he said he does not want to get it.

It looks great to me, and should all be compatible and work together. I might get a 300gb Maxtor 16mb cache, not for performace since they should be the same, but because it's an extra 50GB for about the same price although Western Digital has a better warrenty and better replacement services now that I think about it, so maybe either way :P

haha
Thanks for the help, i should have a peice of mind now knowing that when the parts come it won't be any swearing and fliping out

You quite obviously don't have the experience I have with them. How many have you had access to? 2? 3? I have sold and serviced several hundred of them. And they are crap unless you are using them in a low end, low usage system.

 This guy is not building a server. And how do we know what you're saying is true?

The X1900XT is the best choice.

Don't go with a lesser power supply. High quality computers deserve high quality power.
