its between these 2 boards. please tell me which one you would choose, and why. thank you very much!

or this one
i have a 10% ($9) off promo code for this one.

they seem pretty close in features, and quality, with the edge going to the 1st one. let me know what you think. budget is $100 inc. shipping tops. must be micro atx, 4 ram dimms, socket 1155, usb 3.0 header, support for raid 0.

personally I would go with whichever one that goes with your processor. Don't use SB with H77 and don't use IB with H67. Doing either is just paying for features you won't be able to use anyway.

why do you say that ^..

just some more info..
.im using a i5 2320 3Ghz cpu, 16gigs (4x4sticks) of ram, and a gtx 480, 80 gig intel ssd, 2 x 1tb hd in raid 0. antec 750 neo eco modular psu, blue ray burner and dvd burner. the computer is going to be used for adobe premeir, photoshop, and cad work. some gaming will be done, but not very often.

i really dont understand how an h67 vs a h77 makes a difference when using sandybridge. i used the same cpu in this board...

and didnt have a single problem. was rock solid.

you really need to research more before asking well documented questions.

H77 has USB3 and PCIe 3, but only when paired with a Ivybridge processor. If you use a sandybridge processor with it, you loose both PCIe 3 and USB3.

If you have a Ivybridge processor in a H67 board, you still have no PCIe 3 unless it is a Gen3 board, and you don't get intel USB3, it will be external via Marvell or ASmedia.

You have to match your chipset to your processor, or you don't get all of eithers features.

well sure i understand that. i do know that when i used that gigabyte board i listed (z77), with the sandybridge, i was able to plug in the front usb 3.0 header into the header on the board, and although i couldnt use it till after i installed windows and the driver for it, it was no problem. worked fine. so thats not really an incompatibilty issue where i will have "problems". as is with the pci-e 3.0/2.0. im using a gtx 480, so running it with the cpu (sandybridge) ill be limited to pci-e 2.0, but thats all the card supports anyways. again, i shouldnt have any "problems", like you had stated i would in your original response. and this computer wont be getting upgraded since it should be great for what its being built for, and by the time an upgraded is needed/wanted, there will be a whole new socket out and will be worth upgrading more than likely. more than it will be to upgrade form a sandy to ivy. trust me, i know these things that you have said, and have researched, and ive bought and built on both h67 and z77 boards using sandy bridge, and it has gone flawlessly. meaning i never found myself running into problems liek you said i would. just saying that if one knows what features are enabled based on what hardware combination you choose, i dont see anyone running into any problems using a sandybridge on a z77 board.

the reason why im asking about these 2 particular boards, is because ive bult on the h67 asrock before, and it was alright. not bad at all. and ive built on that h77 gigabyte board, and that seemed a little more solid to me. so iwas wondering mainly on the h77 asrock board since i have no experience with it. the h67 seemed batter built to me, with the heat sinks on the vrm's, and higher capacitor count (not sure if that makes a difference, but sems that it would)? plus it comes with a remote which works pretty well. so im just looking for more opinions. thanks

i decided to order the h67, simply cause i am familiar with the board, and figured for what i need, the h67 vs the h77 really wont make a differemce. not enough responses in time so i had to go with what i know.
