Need to upgrade drive, concerns about imaging...

I'm running low on space on my internal WD Blue drive. I want to upgrade to maybe a 1TB Black drive. My initial thought is I should use Ghost or Acronis to image my Blue drive directly to my Black drive.

I've done this many times, and never had an issue, but since this is my personal PC, I want to make sure. :)

Would there be any problem in such a process? Since it is copying the entire HD structure, there would essentially be no issues whatsoever with any external hardware, internal components, etc.. Correct?

Just looking for some confirmation so I can feel more confident about it.

Thanks!

Done it many times without a problem. Just make sure you dont have the program erase the source drive before you know you got a clean clone.

The copy of Acronis that WD provides works perfectly fine and you shouldn't have an issue with it.
