Need to upgrade processor

Hey fellas I have amd 64 3500 since November 2004 and was looking to upgrade it something really good for the buck. What do u guys recommend? Should I wait until something better comes out? I hear x2 4400 is really nice.BTW I need it only for fast gaming!!!!!!!!!!

Bang for Buck : Totally, you can pick them up for £121 now.

I am saying the 6300 as you can overclock it very well to probably around E6600 speeds, some people have reached around 4GHz with these cores.

But

Changing over chip will also make you need to change over board and ram also, does really amount on how much you have to spend.

What's your budget?
