Need upgrade advice on gaming gpu

OK guys I still have this rig

Antec 900
Asus Mobo
E8500 CPU
Asus 4870 GPU
OCZ 700 PSU
4 GB 1066 DDR2
WD 640 HD
Vista 64 O.S.
22" Monitor and I have a new 24" monitor I haven't set up yet.

I've been using this cpu daily. I only use word, internet surf and play 1-2 video games (LFD2 and now World of Tanks oh and thinking about getting battlefield 3 when it comes out next month).

I was thinking of upgrading my card to a DirectX11. I have a buddy looking for a card and can't afford alot. He has a dell with an E2200 and onboard video. I was thinking of giving him my 4870 and giving myself a reason to uprade. What do you think of these cards

I was thinking of this first card, because the bios is already flashed to a 6970, I've been reading.

all are good, not sure about the pre-flashed bios, and flashing the bios isn't as good as a shader unlock and minor overclock i think, heard that somewhere, but also i have an pentium e2210, and i doubt it will use the 4870 right, will prob bottle it like crap, but it wouid be better than the igpu so whatever.
 
Those two cards are just fine. I wouldn't take the open box one, though. What resolution are you playing at? A 1GB card would work on 1080p with no problems.
 
all these should breeze by any game maxing at that res, they are all very powerful cards and will be able to max anything at that es for a good while, but maybe not as long if you put it on a monitor with 1920x1080, then it won't max for as long, but will still go another few months no prob. probably
 
Go for a 2gb model if your at 1080p or thinking about two monitors. ive got the 6950 and am here to tell you its amazing, but it still struggles sometimes like any card. playing the witcher 2 on the settings im currently running would be nigh on impossible with a 1gb card.
