Ok my computer specs are as followed.
Amd Athlon 3200 Winchester
Gigabyte GA-K8NXP-SLI
Evga Geforce 6800 GT ( computer called it Evga Geforce 6800 GPU though)
Kingmax Duel Channel PC3200 1gb(512x2) memory
Koolance water cooling built into the case.
2 WD 80gb hard drives in RAid 0.
Cd/DVd-Rom and Cd/Dvd-Burner
CPU, Graphcis CArd, and the 2 hard drives are being water cooled.
Last night I was reading up on overclocking on these forums and on others and many things I heard that a Amd Athlon 3200 which I have could be just as fast as a 3500. So my stuipied mistake was I sorta slowly... over clocked my CPU. I changed the bus from 200mhz to 210. I restarted the computer it loaded windows I was on windows for about 15 seconds and then there came this POOF. Everything shut off on me. I pused the power button I got a tiny twitch of power then I tried it again and there was no power at all. I disconnected the power supply from my motherboard and jumped it with this wire I had and the power supply worked fine. I tried to clear the CMOS but nothing happned I tried both was shorten out the CLR-CMOS pins and I removed all the power and the battery from the motherboard and nothing happened. I disonnected the video card, hard drives, cd-roms and everything to see if i needed more power but no I got a 500-watt power supply plus I was running this computer for about 3 days before this happened. My thought is that I blew the motherboard but the motherboard I have is brand new and it fully support overclocking and it has a DPS which I heard is to keep the computer more stable how in the world would it just GO poof like that with no way to bring it back? But this is what happened to me last night can anyone please HELP ME!
