Need urgent help about 17 lcd monitors ! Please!

Hi everybody i'm new here and all i wanted to ask is some suggestions about a lcd 17 monitor. I want to buy one and i have to decide between 3 options. I mention that i don't need games,movies and professional grafic programs...just simple applications. Here are my joyces

philips 170s6fs (12ms,tco03) 255E
lg l1750sq (8ms,tco03) 260E
samsung 740n (8ms,tco99) 275E
(prices with no taxes)
some friends recommend me the samsung cuz it's a better provider but sincerly i would go with the lg (it's cheaper)...but that's not the problem cuz i can give more if needed. so what do you reccomend me..

I could not really say as I don't know each individual monitor but I would suggest that you use google to hunt down reviews. I like to spend the good part of a day when I'm about to make such purchases and read many reviews. Check out what each have to offer and what others have to say about them.

You might want to at least provide links to your 3 choices here for others. This way they can more easily check out your 3 choices and base their advice on what they know about each.
 
how much are each of the monitors? It would be easier for us to help you if you list the price, because price is definately a major factor when shopping for something:) Assuming that they are all the same price I would go for LG, because I have heard good things about them. If the 12ms one is cheaper than the other two, then I would go for it, since your not going to need a super fast refresh rate for what your using it for.
 
I only trust samsung with screens, but thats just me.

Well Samsung are not the only players out there with great LCD's but they do make a good screen and are a pretty safe bet. I have a Viewsonic and it is great.
