I've got a new laptop coming in a few days and is a vast improvement over the current rig i've got now. Basically, i'm running a p3 with 256megs and an integrated vid card that can barely play supermario, lol. Anyway, now, i've got a:

- Core Duo processor T2400 (2MB Cache/1.83GHz/667MHz FSB)
- 2 GB DDR2 SDRAM 533MHz (2 DIMMs)
- 120 GB EIDE Hard Drive
- 128MB ATI MOBILITY RADEON X1300 HyperMem


I know the vid card is kinda lacking but really, its lightyears ahead of what i've ever had so its okay by me.

Now, obviousely, i've missed out on alot of great things because of just the sheer crap of my old rig. Can you guys suggest some good games that I can now run on my new setup? And do not limit it to what is out there now. Old(er) games are fine too as long as they are worth while.
 
I has an almost identical laptop, but with the 256MB x1400. You should be able to play Counter Strike Source/Half Life 2 on low/medium settings pretty well. A few other good games that I like are Halo and Flatout 2.
 
oh wow, i forgot about painkiller. i heard that was blast to play. i was hoping to be able to squeeze out hl2 with it so to hear that is great. i've got rome on my list too and ccgenerals. call of duty1-2 were also ones that i am looking foward too.
