Need4Speed Underground...

I was just curious to see if anyone has ever beat Underground yet, I am currently on race 103 of 111 and have found it considerably hard ever since I got close to the 100th race, even on the easy setting... but I am determined to beat the game and gonna keep on trying until I do...

I know that Need4Speed Underground 2 is coming out soon as well, and if it is anything like the first one, it shall be an amazing game as well... Just curious to see all your thoughts...
 
forget need for speed underground - NPSU2 is here and its so much better, try downloading the demo i cant wait till it comes out.
 
I beat it... its not that hard just don't make alot of mistakes.. i beat it using the Miata (stop laughing at me!) cause it had great handling.. for the drags i switched to either the skyline (mm skyline) or the tiburon..
 
Miata... hehe ya.... I noticed that too, once you get up there in the races, you really have to be good, you cant make any mistakes or your screwed... usually not that difficult except when there is alot of traffic... otherwise your set... I'm using the Eclipse.. I think its got the best handling, accelleration and top speed... I found another thing that helped was driving stick shift instead of automatic, you can just gear down instead of using the brakes to take corners.... it gets you back up to speed alot quicker...

another part where the miata shines.. agile enough to avoid the cars... also.. at some points during the races, the cars will ALWAYS pop out.. i noticed this during one race where you have to go through the forest thingy.. if you can keep the timing right, you'll be able to just fly past them

I used the eclipse but i didn't like it.. it's too bulky... just my tastes tho

Of course not... you wouldnt get to far if you did... just end up walking... :P

Yeah I understand, the eclipse just seems to fit my tastes too, I used the tiburon before the eclipse came along and liked it a lot but then I found the eclipse handled better so I just used it from then there on...
 
I finally beat the game, took me a few trys on some tracks but I eventually pulled through... hopefully the second one is as good as the first!

I found it somewhat easy too, but I still know alot of people that are having a hard time beating it...
 
to be honest, i got tired of that game pretty quick. i wish someone would make a sim along those lines instead of just arcade racers. drifting was fun though... btw, i used the impreza for most of the game.

really? cause I thought it to be the best racing game I have ever played, I enjoy arcarde type games better, I find them to be a lot more fun and entertaining and keep the interest a lot longer than sim games... sure sim games are cool cause they are more realistic, but what is the fun in that... im sure a lot of people play, especially racing games, just to crash their cars and do crazy things anyways which is alot more fun and something u can only get with arcade type games...
