What would be the best Desktop to get. Im sure everyone is aware of Dolphin emulator for Gamecube and wii games. Which pc would be best to run those smoothly along with other PC games? Budget is under 1,000.
Thanks for the help.
Also a new member to the board!

I have thought about building one myself I have just never done so. Ready made desktops would be ideal, also if you know any good links to find what processor, goes with what mother board and ect... $1,000.
Thanks for the help.

I know about newegg.com for finding parts, but i know some things wont work properly together. If i was to build one thats what i would have to know.

I cant get link these right now, but just use thr search function on newegg. These will all work togethor. It would run dolphin great, and bassicly any PC game right now, most at max settings.

You dont need alot, with 2-4x AA 1080p upscaled I run game cube emu and ps2 emu games fine on just a athlon x3 and ati HD 4850 1gb, though since you budget is a grand, I'd future proof and grab a cheap i5 gaming pc with a ati 7850.

Reminding yall im a newbie to this and have not built one before, so is what you listed above all the things you need for a complete desktop?

The website you mentioned has a fantastic budget build but instead of the gtx 650 I would get a 7850 for $100 more. And instead of the 6100 CPU I would get the 6300 for $10-$20 more. And u might want get the 530 watt version of that PSU. So if u decide to upgrade u can keep our PSU. The fx8350 will definitely drop in price when steam roller comes out (2014) but is a bit power hungry compared to other modern CPUs and the 7850 in its own right uses more power then the gtx 650. And if that mono doesn't support cross fire I would spend $20 more to get one that does for future up grade. (In that case you want a 600w+ corsairs PSU. ) all in all you would be spending 600-700 like that but will leave a lot more room for upgrades in the future and will have more bang for the buck.

The build i said would be a fair bit Better then that one, and yes, its all you need, except keyboard, mouse, and monitor.

Yeah I suggest you go with pc unicorns build, sorry I didnt look at your build when I made my last post lol. But if you want to save a little money and wont be overclocking any i5 will do so get the cheapest you can (preferably a ivybridge one 3xxx since you wont be overclocking) and a 7850 will be more then enough for you, the 7870 isnt much faster then then the 7850, the 7850 is currently best price:performance card for a budget build and is very fast.

This build is very weak. He has $1000 to spend.

Make sure you go for the z77X ud3h.
With a 1000$ budget you could easily replace that hd7870 with an hd7950? It gives you a nice boost in performance.
