Nemesis V.S. Vento

I liked the nemesis.

I know this is a dumb question but im a noob.
Whats the LCD for? Is it a fan controller?
 
I personally own a Nemesis Elite (Black) and it is a very nice case but you really should replace the PSU once you get it. The Nemesis is light but very durable and everything is pretty easy to install into it. It uses rails and latches so pretty much tooless installation on most components. The only thing that bugs we is that even though it has 120mm fans, I find myself wanting to replace them because air circulation is a little on the downside but of course, I do heavy overclocking so the circualtion is more than enough for a mildly OCd rig. The LCD display is very nice a bright too and the temp monitors are great. This is a very good one for LAN parties.

The Vento looks kindof....ugly and it looks like it has only those two air vents in the front. The air circualtion looks very poor on this case. I wouldn't get it.

If you want a really sleek looking case, get the NZXT Trinity, it is awesome. If you want a really intimidating case, look at the MGE Viper case! http://store.yahoo.com/xoxide/xgbox-mge-viper-bk.html
 
Ahh thanks gamer man. I was leanin toward the vento but I'm going to give the nemesis another look at. I also want a case that has neon on the viewing window that way my components can get the stardom they rightly deserve :)
 
A good CCFL kit wold give you a lot of light for about ~$10. The LCD panel is a temp monitor, fan controller(controlled by temps), displays time/date, and acts as am alarm. If you decide to go with a CCFL kit, get a dual kit, they are only a few dollars more(single CCFL=$5 dual =$10) so you might as well get dual than the single light ones. You can also get CCFL lights that are sound reactive so they will pulse to music. The only lights in the Nemesis are the 3 LEDs on each 120mm fan and the front LED "eye" and the red "NEMESIS" HDD light on the door of it. Also, beware of fingerprints on the Nemesis case, the case has a very glossy paintjob that will show fingerprints easily. You can almost see yourself in the paint :D.

If you want lights in the Vento, you'd have to cut windows out yourself.

i concur
i personally dont like the robot face look of the nemisis
but i do like the trinity "it's sexy"!! :) :P
but i like clear cases even better:D
