I recently purchased Nero 10 Multimedia Suite and everything installed and worked fine the first time, but due to some recent problems i had to completely reset my computer. After reinstalling XP I reinstalled the software again, I tried opening Nero Vision and I keep getting the error message (This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.) I have tried reinstalling several times and I've ran registry cleaning programs. All of the other programs work fine but the one I needed the most does not work. I'm running windows XP x32 service pack 3 on a dell vostro 1000. Please Help!!!

make sure you have all the other main updates in some programs wont work without, windows installer 3.1 and net framework 2.0 at the very least, then try uninstalling and reinstalling it from scratch
I tried that and it didn't work 
after I install it all of the other programs in the multimedia suite work fine, the burning rom, cover designer, control center ect. but when I click on Nero Vision windows installer starts configuring and gathering information and that's when the error message comes up

I'm not sure why but i'm glad it did
