Nero Essential not vista compatible..

alright so ive got a liteon dvd burner (w/ lightscribe) and the software that it came w/ (nero essentail 7) isn't compatible w/ my vista....so wht are my options? is tehre a freeware out there that works w/ lightscribe or something like that...thanks...

i had the same problem with nero. I had a failed installed. But there's a nero7 thats compatible with vista.A friend gave me another version (think its premium,about 315mb) and i installed successfully.

nero will never be freeware. i suggest you try alcohol

Lol, I got rid of my nero, it was causing so many problems, I'll have to try and get it back again with that new version that you posted, Patrick.
