Net Beans help!!

i am using a 64 bit system. i wanted to use net beans so first i downloaded net beans and the download jdk for windows 64 bit system.even after installing jdk successfully when i tried installing net beans it just said "configuring the installer" and then it loaded and then nothing else appeared..it was just over..what could be the problem??i would sincerely appreciate solutions for this prob...

so there are there any other IDE's which have a professional look and has an easy user interface to work with???
