.NET Framework 4.0 won't install

.NET Framework 4 has not been installed because:

Generic Trust Failure"

.... what can I do?

I don't have that SetupUtility file. And I don't see that option in Control Panel.

Have you ran temp file cleaner such as Ccleaner or TFC? Do you actually need the software installed? The latest version of net framework is 4.5.

I downloaded 4.5 and I'm trying to activate Adobe Digital Editions to download eBook's and it tells me:

Activation Server error
code: E_ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIRED http://.... etc...

What should I do?
