Net speed enough for BF3 multiplayer?

The upload speed seems good enough. Is it good enough for BF3 multi? :)

When the server is in US then I get ping about 300 in other games.
I posted this. (Not sure whether it is useful).

 
That is some pretty awful download speeds, what provider do you have that gives you more upload than download?

*nevermind I see it now. I would worry about your download speed if I were you, maybe look for a better alternative.

I don't think you will have a very good online experience at all with that connection speed,That ping is no good...Surely there alternative providers in your area?
 
Changing or upgrading this connection will take ages. :(
What do you think about this? I have seen people playing at 300KB/S :o

You aren't on even close to 300KB/s, you are on... 21KB/s :P

It wouldn't be enough I don't think unless you are within 50-100 miles

Can I confirm whether it will work or not?
I still doubt that it will work just good enough, but not upto the level. :)
 
Online gaming will use 50KB/s down and maybe 20KB/s up constantly, except if you need to download maps.

IE, you don't need much speed, but a stable connection is a must.
 
That will work fine, downloading new maps will be slow but actually playing the game will be fine. Also, 80-133ms ping is fine for online gaming.

It is Kbit per second not KB(yte) per second.
And the major problem is your ping.
Which area do you live in? I can suggest a suitable plan in that area.
I myself use Sify 1 Mbit /s at Rs999.

Kbit dang that is too less then, I stay in Kondhwa area in Pune.
BTW does landmark stores have BF3? Many of my friends need it.
Okay my friend played BF3 at the same speed as mine and it worked smoothly and no lag and how do we know that our connection is stable? :D

You can get a decent Airtel 2Mb/s till 75GB Download and then 256kb/s, it is great for gaming.
Landmark does not have BF3, but there is a new awesome game store in Inorbit which only deals in games and also takes pre-orders and everything, you might want to try that out, I am getting my copy from Dubai.
